It’s About Time Photography

It’s About Time Photography LLC was founded in 2013. Larry and Becky would do what they could after Larry’s work day was finished. They spent numerous hours studying and learning about photography, increasing their skill sets. With the limited time, progress was slow. In 2014, Adam graduated and moved home and is dedicating himself to It’s About Time Photography. Together, the three of them, Larry, Becky, and Adam, have acquired and developed the skillset to create and develop Fine Art.

Larry Petersen

Larry Petersen was raised just outside of Tremonton, Utah, which is a small rural area, composed mostly of farmers. This upbringing taught Larry to care about the land and to be a hard worker. Larry attended Utah State University, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, Larry and his wife Becky moved to Pocatello to take a job, where he has been working since. Larry and his family always enjoyed visiting Yellowstone National Park. Through interactions with photographers there, Larry’s interest in photography was re-kindled. Larry had done photography while growing up, with film and a dark room. These skills have carried over to the digital age of photography, as the principles are still the same. Larry has spent innumerable hours studying and learning about photography, and he has become an expert with lighting. His technical abilities have allowed him to become an excellent photographer, creating more than just photographs. Larry creates Fine Art.

Becky Petersen

Becky Petersen was raised in Tremonton, Utah, a small rural city in Northern Utah. Becky attended Utah State University, where she met and married her husband, Larry Petersen. Becky earned an Associate’s degree in Secretarial Training. She worked as a secretary at Utah State University while Larry finished his education. When Larry graduated, they moved to Pocatello and Becky had the privilege of being a full-time mom to four wonderful, active boys. Becky has dabbled in numerous arts and crafts including stamping, scrapbooking, drawing, painting, and photography. She has acquired a vast knowledge of the different elements of art. She knows what to look for to be pleasing to the eye, and how to make different mediums show that beauty.

Adam Petersen

Adam Petersen is the son of Larry and Becky Petersen. Adam has always had an eye for the arts. Growing up, Adam took art classes where he learned to draw and paint. Through these classes he developed an eye for detail and learned what art is. Through their family trips to Yellowstone National Park, Adam was introduced to photography. Applying the skills learned in his art classes, Adam quickly developed into a great photographer with an innate eye for beautiful pictures. These skills were first applied to nature, but have then been transitioned into Portrait Photography. Adam has since continued his learning in lighting, posing, and the digital aspects of photography. Adam has graduated from Utah State University in Accounting and is excited to apply the knowledge he gained there to become an entrepreneur that can deliver beautiful art to the world.
