This week is Steve Shropshire’s annual Haunted Lab for Halloween. Steve takes Physic and makes it fun and interesting for people who haven’t studied physics.
During the week, the schools come and bring the kids to see it. It is a great way to show kids that science can be fun, interesting, and cool. Then on Saturday, the lab is open to the paying public. The proceeds go to a worthy cause. So it is double benefit.
Steve was kind enough let me come, after the kids left on Monday, to do a photo shoot. Since I am an engineer, I was kind of like a kid in a candy store. It was an interesting challenge to figure out how to create interesting, appealing images of the displays.
Here are a few of the images that were my favorites.
